Facility Information

3 to 5 Preschool is located in the multi-purpose room at the First Presbyterian Church in Sitka, Alaska.

Activity Centers
The following activity centers are offered at different times during the day:

Group Time – group participation in stories, songs, counting games, culture lessons, and rhymes

Discovery Activities – science and nature projects, touch and feel, picture book creation

Art Tables – painting, creative art opportunities

Logic Toys – puzzles, small manipulative toys, games

Book Corner – lots of books, books on tape, puppets, a soft and snuggly place to read

Creativity and Writing Center – cut & paste, markers, crayons, & paper

Play Dough – homemade play dough, cookie cutters, clay tools, and scissors

House Corner – housekeeping toys, dress up, doll furniture, babies

Blocks – large building blocks, vehicles, figures animals, buildings

Sensory Table – opportunities to play with different substances with a variety of textures

Bikes – riding toys and trailers

Gym – large climbing apparatus, tumbling mats, balls, beanbags, fuzzy balls
